This reader standardises presentation, not the entire procedure library. The original instructions, version labels and warnings are retained. Some topics describe the local Windows hub or earlier interface labels. They must not be read as proof that all desktop setup, imports or recovery work is available in the hosted browser.

Author toolbox-talk forms in the browser

Reusable wording and revisions, separate from recorded briefings.

Sign in with the Build and import toolbox-talk forms permission, then open Setup & builders or Templates & routines. Administrators have this capability automatically, but administrator status is not required. The same saved library includes checklist templates, maintenance routines and toolbox-talk forms. Search or filter by kind and status. Actual briefings remain in the operational Toolbox Talks workspace.

Create a complete unpublished form

Choose New toolbox form. In Details, enter the title, optional document code, purpose, supervisor instructions and personal acknowledgement declaration. New wording starts blank; use the procedures approved for your operation. In Discussion, add one to 100 grouped prompts. In Understanding, add one to 20 Yes/No questions. The editor shows one selected prompt or question at a time; phone layouts use a compact selector. Add, remove or reorder entries as needed.

Open Review to inspect all wording. Enter a reason and tick the initially unchecked confirmation, then choose Save unpublished hub draft. The complete native form constraints apply even to draft saving; incomplete forms cannot be saved. Saving a draft does not publish it, create a briefing or acknowledge anything.

Publish the exact saved draft separately

Reopen the saved form and choose Review saved form for publication. The hub checks the exact saved definition and current authority. Inspect the wording, enter a reason, and explicitly confirm Publish reviewed revision. Changing the saved form in another window invalidates that review; stale content cannot overwrite the new state.

Propose a revision of a published form

Published toolbox forms have no parallel saved hub draft. Choose Propose revision. These edits stay only in the open browser tab. After changing the wording, open Review and choose Review this complete form with the hub, then confirm publication separately. Any wording change invalidates review and consent. An unchanged reviewed form does not create an extra revision. Closing or reloading before publication loses the proposal; the existing published form remains unchanged.

Previous talks keep their own evidence

Reordering uses the native positional references in the new form revision; it does not relabel old answers. Open, finalised and cancelled talks retain their saved form, discussion results, answers, attendees, guests, personal acknowledgements and witnessed-guest acknowledgements. Archive prevents selection for future talks without deleting previous evidence. Restore is explicit; restoring an unpublished form does not publish it. Opening or publishing a form is not acknowledgement, permit-to-work or approval to operate.

Retain original source and unsupported fields

Source/import metadata stays attached. Pending imported-source review and unsupported extra definition fields are read-only in this editor. They are not discarded or automatically approved. Document import, source editing and source-review resolution remain in native Admin. The native toolbox service and existing project database remain authoritative.

Online authoring and uncertain results

These authoring forms are NOT offline drafts. Keep the hub reachable and save complete unpublished drafts regularly. A published-form proposal remains in memory until publication. This is separate from supported operational briefing Local forms.

Controls lock while sending. After a lost response, keep the editor open and use Retry unchanged request. An exact retry confirms the original action without a duplicate revision. A later rejected request does not prove an earlier uncertain save failed. Metadata-only receipts contain identifiers/status, not the full form or declaration, and cannot reconstruct a closed editor. Account/session or project invalidation clears sensitive authoring fields without clearing operational drafts.
