About these instructions

This reader standardises presentation, not the entire procedure library. The original instructions, version labels and warnings are retained. Some topics describe the local Windows hub or earlier interface labels. They must not be read as proof that all desktop setup, imports or recovery work is available in the hosted browser.

Review equipment and illustrated references

Keep historical settings separate from current instructions

Imported equipment pages preserve saved workbook cells, explanatory text and source pictures. They start restricted to administrators. Release lets the project team read a page; it does not approve its technical content.

  1. Open Admin → Logs → References…. Select a source page; the first available page is selected automatically. Choose Review selected… or double-click it.
  2. Choose Open full page to inspect all the saved cells, notes and full underlying images. If the default viewer cannot open, the app shows the saved file path.
  3. Check confidential information, current applicability and equipment revision. Enter a reason and tick the acknowledgement, then choose Release to team.
  4. Users with Logs and reference-view access can open the released page under Equipment & references. Use Restrict page to stop future app access; copies already downloaded cannot be recalled.

Pictures and source limitations

Underlying images may reveal content outside an Excel crop. Review every picture before release. Inactive source formulas, source errors and recorded sign conventions are preserved, not recalculated or certified. Vector-only connectors and the exact Excel layout are not reproduced. Instruction pictures are not evidence of newly completed work.

Keep useful evidence

Open full page saves a local preview inside the project’s reference_previews folder. Treat that file as confidential too. Use the log reference export options to transfer the source pages and pictures deliberately; a full project backup preserves their saved database content. The original workbook remains the authoritative source for its exact presentation.

For vessel-only readers, review and link the whole book under Fleet & manifests → Vessel logbooks & permissions. That portal requires separate log rights and a hub connection; it does not use this workspace’s offline queue.
