This reader standardises presentation, not the entire procedure library. The original instructions, version labels and warnings are retained. Import a multi-tab operations workbook

Review every tab before creating a historical logbook

  1. Open Admin → Logs → Logbook setup → Import workbook. Choose an XLSX/XLSM up to 64 MB with no more than 100 worksheets. No macros, calculations, external files or queries are executed.
  2. Review the inventory of every sheet, including hidden or excluded sheets. Toggle the desired tabs and use Review selected sheet to inspect counts, mappings, warnings and sample values.
  3. Enter the new logbook name and confirm the destination project, source status, units and permission to import. Confirm Survey times as UTC only when verified; otherwise retain the unconfirmed source times.
  4. Import into new logbook creates a historical snapshot, not a merge or live connection. An exact repeat workbook import is blocked in that project.

What becomes a working section

Recognised OnlineLog, Survey, SVP, Weather, Line Status, Draft and Issues layouts use explicit field mappings. Recognised Lever Arms and C-O layouts add offset register entries. Blank template rows and status placeholders are not invented records. Unrecognised headers remain reference-only.

Lever Arms convention blocks remain separate, with their original axis labels. C-O Qinsy-sign and respective-system-sign groups become separate entries. Saved values, inactive formulas and source cells are retained. No signs or frames are converted, no units or origins are inferred, and formula results are not recalculated. Imported offsets are unverified source records.

References and sensitive material

Selected tabs also retain source-reference pages containing saved cells, explanatory text, picture placements and layout notes. Source errors stay visible; source names and initials are not authenticated account signatures. The signed-in importer is recorded separately.

Passwords, IO Moxa and Corrections are excluded as whole tabs because of credential/service-access information. Every other reference page starts restricted to administrators. Review the complete cells and pictures before release; other pages may still contain confidential details.

For vessel-only readers, review and link the whole book under Fleet & manifests → Vessel logbooks & permissions. That portal requires separate log rights and a hub connection; it does not use this workspace’s offline queue.
