Choose the hub network address

Use the interface your team can reach

A survey PC can have several network interfaces. Choose the IP on the approved network used by phones and other operators, not a sensor-only interface. The address is saved separately for each project.

  1. Synchronise or export unsent work on every device. Stop the hub server; keep the existing project and data folder.
  2. Open Admin → Hub & phones. In Phone IP address / hostname, select a detected address or type the correct one. A plain IP is enough. The app adds the saved HTTP/HTTPS protocol and port.
  3. Choose All local interfaces to keep the usual listener and share just this chosen address. Choose Selected IP only to restrict the listener to one numeric IP assigned to this PC. A hostname requires All local interfaces.
  4. Choose Save address. The displayed address and QR change together. An unsaved edit is labelled Preview; an invalid edit clears the previous QR. Copy saved address uses only the saved setting.
  5. Start the server, then use the saved address or QR on the team devices. The browser menu’s Connect another phone uses the same saved address.

Changing networks, ports or secure access

Refresh addresses updates the choices without replacing your selection. A saved IP is not silently changed when another adapter is detected. If Selected IP only is unavailable, start is blocked with an explanation rather than switching to a different interface.

Set the listening port and HTTPS certificate/key under Settings while the hub is stopped. A pasted complete URL must match those settings. Changing the IP does not reconfigure Windows networking, firewall rules, routes or certificates. Have IT reserve a suitable IP and ensure the devices can reach it.
